A rare boat with beautiful classical lines and ready to go....
As there are only 5 of her design and no information to be had on the internet, here is a brief history on her design.
It dates back to the
1930's and was based on a Sparkman and Stephens design, probably the Islander/Hinkley 30 .
Originally built out of wood and was used for racing and weekend cruising.
In the 1940's the Beaty Brothers bought her and later when she was on her last legs, as they enjoyed her design so much, they made a mould out of her and built 5 boats out of fiberglass.
Our hull is #5.
We have owned her since November 2012 and have spent over $13,500 on her. She is a beauty with classical lines, very fast and slippery and generates compliments wherever we go and makes it a real pleasure to sail her. Her solid design and construction makes her very seaworthy.
She has already completed a 2 month charter in Belize in 2014 and we have been living and sailing on her for six month from october 2014 whilst our No 1 boat was undergoing a major refit so Lady Anne is legal and ready to go!!!!
Complete refit of the hull, deck and the interior in 2003-04 and 2014.
