The Roberts Offshore 38 is a solid cruising yacht designed to be handled by a couple and to give a comfortable ride and good all round sailing performance.
The vessel is a substantial distance cruising yacht having a raked stem, firm forefoot, half lenght keel with hull terminatingin a short counter and well proportioned transom.
The deck is raised slightly from the gunnel to provide flush deck, with pilot house and cockpit at the after end. There is a full canva enclosure over the cockpit.
Below decks, custom built accomodation provides for 4 occasional 7 persons with stay aboard facilities.
The vessel is rigged as a masthead bermudan cutter with self-tacking jib and auxliary power is provided by a Perkins 4108, driving trough a Vdrive and reversing transmission. There is a heavy Iroko rub rail and toe rail.
